Sheffield Nightline is a student-run listening and information service.
What is Street Team?
Street Team is an off-branch of Sheffield Nightline. As a Street Team volunteer you will work alongside the public face and other members to promote Sheffield Nightline at in-person and online events. Street Team members do not take calls.
Members of the Street Team can volunteer on an ad-hoc basis or on a more regular basis depending on events and roles available at the time. There are certain times throughout the year where we may require more members such as freshers week and exam periods.
Please note if you are interested in taking calls please apply using our calltaking volunteer form.
Why become a Street Team member?
As an organisation we are constantly looking for new ways to promote our service. As such, we need a dedicated team to help represent us and ensure those in need know where to turn to.
Are there any benefits? As a Street Team member you can get accreditation for dedicating your time to help our service. Members can also enhance their skills and personal qualities through volunteering with us.
What you can expect from us: We won’t throw you straight into the deep end! We will run a small introductory training session just so you understand and are prepared to represent Sheffield Nightline!
